As we know, the Huntington library was founded in 1919 by Henry E. Huntington. During his lifetime, he collected the finest books, art collections, and created the botanical gardens with plants span the world. But, What’s happening now?
They have conservatory public image. People think it is boring. Even though they have the best gardens and library. Other wise, they are losing young audience. But, the young audience are the future visitors as well. In fact, audience behavior is changing. So, Museums everywhere have to reconsider about how they respond to those changes.
ACCESSIBLE for everyone
Classic & MODERN
Connect nature and art in EVERYONE’S live
When we think about accessible, it reminds me of “gateway”. The gateway towards to the new world. Every entrance of building in huntington has a rectangular shape.
The logo we use lowercase “h” since it is more friendly while retaining monumental. The negative space is symbolizing the gateway. Then, give colors to it and all the colors come from gardens.
